Heading towards Mouresi and Damouchari, 55km from Volos you come to the enchanting fishing village of Agios Ioannis (St John). This very traditional village has a very impressive little harbor lined with everything from large fishing boats and small ‘caiques’ to exclusive yachts and plush motorboats, making the seaside resort the most cosmopolitan in the area. As with the main beach, these two are a mixture of thick sand and pebbles with clear waters and are particularly good for anyone wanting to explore the underwater world with a snorkel.
