Katigiorgis provides an ideal base for your holiday duration as the access to many other interesting villages and known sights of Pelion is particularly easy and provides the opportunity to organize some really pleasurable day trips to get to know the beauty of the region.
It is a small fishing harbor opposite the island of Skiathos and many visitors prefer this particular village for the peace and quiet it offers.
The beach with its turquoise waters is a perfect place to enjoy the sea, and the fish tavernas an excellent place to try really fresh fish and seafood at very reasonable prices.
The nearest beach, south of Katigiorgi, is Vlachorema. A beautiful little footpath leads us to the small beach with its clear, crystal waters, backed with green, particularly pine trees. After Vlachorema, the footpath continues for another ten minutes and leads us to an equally fantastic beach, Vromoneri.
