Melani is divided from Potostika beach by just a cluster of rocks. Such a magical landscape, it took its name from the deep blue colour of its waters as Melani means Ink.
Melani beach is very quiet compared to many of the other beaches of Pelion, as a part of the road to reach the beach is still a dirt track though the rest is asphalt. However, access is easy from the crossroads on the Argalasti - Xinobrisi road, also there is an easy road that connects it with Paltsi beach (5km), panorama icon and a footpath to the beach of Potistika. panorama icon
There are minimal facilities on this beach and during the summer months many campers set up their tents by the rocks.
