Milina, a seaside village at a distance of 48km from Volos, has been built in an olive grove, on a plain full of citrus trees. It is a beautiful seaside village in south Pelion and now a very impressive, popular holiday resort of the region, with unique beaches and crystal clear sea.

The beach in front of the village is covered with course sand and little stones, the water is shallow and the beach is by necessity, narrow as the waterfront promenade has been built above it.
Milina is known for the stunning sunset it awards any visitors who plan to be there at that time.
Around the time of the 15th August (the festival of the Virgin Mary and the peak of the summer season), a ten-day cultural exhibition is organized themed with music, and the theatre of dance.

Holidays in Milina are improved by the traditional taverns serving fresh fish, pretty hotels and rented accommodation as well as the many cafeterias that line the length of the coast. You can stay here to use as a base to explore the nearby seaside villages of Mavri Petra (black stone), Agios Andrea, Marathia, the small shipyard of Valtoudi, the monastery of Agion Saranta, located on the little island of Alatas opposite, and the monastery of Zoodohos Pigi of the 17th century, found on the island of Prasouda next to Alata.
