The area of Paltsi is known for being a large agriculture and livestock and is ideal for foraging. It is located within the boundaries of the village that head the region, Argalasti.

Found at 52km from Volos panorama icon and just 13k from Argalasti, panorama icon it is cloaked in greenery, right down until the water’s edge at the beaches of Paltsi or Agios Konstantinos.

The sands are fine and golden and the waters are emerald in colour and crystal clear making it an ideal place for swimming and relaxing.

Though visited by many swimmers it is never crowded outside of the month of August when it becomes an extremely popular spot for holidaymakers.

You can visit the little church of Agion Taxiarchon on the top of the hill above the beach, which celebrates with a festival on the 5th and 6th September.

Undoubtedly one of the most beautiful beaches in the wider area of Argalasti; this southeastern beach runs between two ravines which, though the course of years, created a verdant valley with water that runs into the sea.

There is only a small choice of places to stay and eat, but the few that are there are well run.

We recommend this spot for a relaxing day or refreshing swim, though for the more energetic there is also a footpath that runs for around 2.5 hours to Lafkos village, panorama icon which is particularly enjoyable.
